Of quick note is the background still isn't fulfilling, in my eyes, though I don't know where I'm going with it. I don't suppose I really need an avatar? I surely could find one if I were to make some effort. If anything else need be changed, do let me know, and I'll make it acceptable!

Background
Born in the upper middle class, Alice was brought up with a slight prejudice toward those of the lower status. Through her early years, she associated many things, such as clothing, behaviors, and activities with the lower class. Things took a turn for the worse at one point, when her mother had a lengthy hospitalization. This set the family back quite a bit, resulting in their moving. The move put Alice in a new school, where she was under attack from the students. After tearing down her barriers, she found a way to ignore it, at points, almost becoming hysterical trying to block it all out.
It was a few years until she began to accept it and everyone grew away from constant verbal assaults. At this time, she met a teacher who was very personable with the students. Over time, she began to take a liking to his humor, sometimes staying after to talk to him. It was at this time she also began to listen closely to what people would talk about in their spare time and create associations between emotions, their causes, and the reactions people had. Through the rest of her years, she kept mostly to herself, simply wondering.
